Helicopter Tours Hawaii - Helicopter Touring Tips

  • Helicopter tours should be done on one of your first days in Hawaii as well. Taking the flight early on in your stay will give you a solid grip of the "lay of the land" and will allow you to go back and visit those spots that you felt were most intriguing.

  • Morning flights generally have the least cloud cover. These are also the ones that book up first, especially during busy times.

  • Wear dark-colored clothing if you're going to be taking your own photographs. White or light- colored clothing will reflect in the windows and show up in the image.

  • If you're prone to air-sickness, speak with your doctor, or hand some over-the-counter motion-sickness products on hand . Begin using them the evening before. Avoid a heavy, acidic breakfast.

  • Book early. Better yet, book a morning flight before you leave for Hawaii.
